In an effort to connect my hall to the dining center and other residents halls, a path needed to be created through a valley of trees. Sometime before the end of the year, there will be a "super crane" that will place a bridge over the valley. A super crane is needed because the bridge will be inserted in one piece over the valley. Below is one of the "big toys" that is currently moving dirt around. They started about 6am this morning and they were still working at 5pm when my staff and I went to staff dinner.
The picture below is a look across the valley. Originally, only one tree was to be removed, but as you can see, several have been taken down.
